RESOLUTION NO. 03-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CONTRA COSTA WATER DISTRICT RECOGNIZING
BIRD MORNINGSTAR
WHEREAS, Bird Morningstar is a customer of the Contra Costa Water District, who implements efficient water conservation practices at his home; and
WHEREAS, Bird Morningstar owns and operates The Happy Gardener, a landscape management company, where he educates his customers to manage their water use efficiently; and
WHEREAS, Bird Morningstar has promoted landscape water conservation, environmentally-friendly pest control, and the efficient use of water resources for more than 20 years through his business; and
WHEREAS, Bird Morningstar regularly attends Board meetings and advises the Board and the District on its conservations matters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa Water District expresses appreciation to Bird Morningstar for his commitment to water conservation, and the protection of water resources, through his business practices and through his personal conservation ethic.
